Already as a kid, Maria fell in love with horses. In her youth, not much horse riding was to be seen in Varna where she lived. And then, one day, she met a girl that was riding horses somewhere in the neighborhood of Varna. "Take me there with you", she said to that girl, and that was the beginning of her journey with horses.

From that moment on, horses were not just only in her dreams, but they became a real part of her life. Maria likes show jumping, and she did indeed take part in many competitions, but more than that, she loves to just be around horses, to play with them and to connect with these incredible creatures.

Maria graduated as an actress and started playing in some theaters but the dream of working with horses always stayed present. And then she met Dirk and his beautiful and lovely horses in the club in Varna... As time went by, she learned more and more about Dirk's philosphy and the methods of natural horsemanship he was and is using. It was the mentality Dirk had been looking for and the decision to make her manager of the club was an easy one to make for him.

She got her license as a horse riding instructor and is happy to be able to share her love for horses with as much people as possible. She shares the same desire as Dirk when it comes to showing people the real beauty of making a connection with a horse and how this can make people happy and help them relax.
